Safely back in the UK, and still digesting the news from Interop New York - much to come.
With the demise of VON, specialist voice shows are thinner on the ground, especially in Europe. That doesn’t mean that VoIP projects have slowed down any, in fact there seem to be more voice vendors and voice projects with every passing day.
With that in mind, a heads up on  VoiceCon Amsterdam next month (14-16 October at the RAI Centre).  VoiceCon is a huge deal in the US, so it is great to see it coming to this side of the pond again. It covers IP Telephony, Unified Communications and Converged Networks, and will feature speeches from Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, KPN, Siemens and Royal Dutch Shell.  There’s a discount here if you manage to register by October 3rd (VoiceCon registration).
