An interesting development from UK database security company Secerno and US vendor F5 Networks. They have built a solution that provides an integrated approach to network and application level security. F5’s BIG-IP application security manager can now pass information to Secerno’s DataWall product, alerting it to web-based security violations, which DataWall can then act on at the database access level.
