This week saw Storage Expo at London’s Olympia. There was a broad range of exhibits and news. The usual suspects: data de-duplication, a fair collection of green stuff from the big folks (eg Dell and Cisco), various data security angles, and lots of ‘virtualization’ plays.
Net net? A few points to post on, once I’ve investigated a little more. Generally good fair on offer, and the show was buzzing with fellow IT folks looking for new ways to store things.
